New Here?

Planning to visit Calvary?

We hope that you find a family here and experience the hope that we have in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as we come together each week to learn, worship and fellowship together. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

What do people wear to a Calvary Morning Worship Service?

Casual or dressy and everything in between. Some people worship in jeans and others in a dress shirt with tie or a dress.  Overall, the general atmosphere is business casual attire.

Where do I park?

Most people find it convenient to park in the back of the church building. You can enter this parking lot by pulling onto McKenzie Avenue and turning right into the parking lot.  You can also park on the side streets outside the church and enter either through the front, Maple Avenue entrance or side (McKenzie Ave) entrance.

What can I expect at a Morning Worship Service?

The Morning Worship Service is held upstairs in the main Sanctuary.   Click on this link for a typical order of service.  If you need assistance, please see one of our greeters at the Welcome Center. Typically, contemporary worship songs with a traditional hymn are sung at each service.  The Lord has gifted many in our church with musical talent and our congregation loves to sing!  The message is usually preached by our senior pastor, Dave Golden who preaches with grace and truth, the Word of God.  The current series being preached is Galatians.  The entire service from beginning to end is approximately 1 - 1 ½ hours long.

What children’s activities do we have?

We offer a nursery during the Morning Worship Service for infants - age 4.  The nursery is the second door on your right as you come up the stairs.  We also offer a Children’s Church program downstairs during the Morning Worship Service.  Children remain in the service for about half of the service at which time they go downstairs to continue their time of worship with a Bible lesson, songs and a game or activity.   We also offer Calvary Kids Busy Bags, which can be found in the hallway upstairs as you enter.  These have coloring books, crayons and other activities for the kids to keep their hands busy while their ears are listening during the service.
